Doug Malewicki - Inventor of SkyTran/Company Founder
Mr. Malewicki is the inventor of the SkyTran
light weight, high speed, low cost, on-demand, personal/mass
transportation concept. He is currently President/Chief
Scientist for AeroVisions, Inc. a company he founded in 1974 and
incorporated in 1980 for the purpose developing, promoting and
commercializing his numerous inventions. These range from
his ROBOSAURUS — the patented 40 foot tall, 58,000 pound, fire
breathing, junk car eating monster entertainment robot that
thrills stadium audiences all over the world to his super
aerodynamic CALIFORNIA COMMUTER. Malewicki set two
official Guinness World records for achieving over 150 miles per
gallon fuel efficiency on cross-country runs at freeway speeds
with his CALIFORNIA COMMUTER.
Prolific inventor Malewicki is a low cost
design innovation specialist, aerodynamicist, engineering
structural analyst, automation consultant and vehicle
performance analyst. Malewicki earned a Masters of
Science degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford
University. Malewicki has authored numerous technical
papers, several books and even a cover feature article for
Scientific American magazine. He is a visionary who enjoys
creating "impossible" futuristic machines (Check out

Malewicki is also a skilled craftsman who understands machining,
welding, advanced composites manufacturing, plastic injection
molding, etc. to know what can and can't be economically
builtand the costs involved.
Bruce Sargeant — Electrical Engineering Adviser
Mr. Sargeant is currently the President of
Collinear Research Corporation. Collinear applies technology,
both electronic hardware and software, for use in a diverse
range of products for OEM customers in the areas of medical
instrumentation, industrial control/instrumentation and fitness
equipment. Major customers include Sorin Biomedical,
Baxter Health Care, Eclipse Surgical, Mountz, Cybex Fitness,
Nike, and Schwinn. In addition, Mr. Sargeant has over 20
years of experience in creating and implementing products and
management teams for various technological applications.
Frank Baker - Control System Software Advisor
Mr. Baker is presently Vice President of
Monitoring Automation Systems, world’s leading supplier of
non-stop computer systems for continuous monitoring of
commercial and residential burglar and fire systems. At MAS,
Baker is responsible for R & D and special projects. He has
directed software development, product design, operations and
support for MAS at various times in the past 18 years. Baker
earned an MBA at the University of Southern California, where he
specialized in Entrepreneurship and Venture Management and
performed Fellowship work in the area of Probability and
Statistics. Baker is co-patentee of the concept with Malewicki
and has made presentations on the software aspects of the
invention to the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) at their
Future Transportation Conference and other technical groups.
Len Stobar - Design, Art, Ergonomics, and Producibility
Advisor
Mr. Stobar is currently an Adjunct Professor
at the prestigious Los Angeles Art Center — College of Design.
Stobar is a third generation designer who emphasizes to his
students that tooling and manufacturing costs are as important
as innovative style and ergonomics. Stobar has been involved in
numerous product innovations and several previous successful
manufacturing ventures. To date, he has been indispensable in
stimulating the thinking involved in both the lower cost SkyTran
vehicles and the important low cost stations.
Brad T. Bowman — Computer Graphics, Multimedia, and Animation
Mr. Bowman is an award winning commercial
artist who will be creating all of SkyTran, Inc.'s marketing
visuals, future 3D animations, videos, brochures and Web based
presentations. Brad uses and teaches the latest advanced 3D
visualization software and has complete in-house video
production hardware/software capability. Brad's computer art has
been published on several CD-ROM's and he has also worked as a
coordinator for major Computer Graphics Conferences.
