SkyTran stations are much smaller than usual mass transit stations, being as small as a bus stop. Vehicles wait at small platforms about 10 feet above the sidewalk, attached to the sides of buildings, or inside buildings themselves. After a passenger boards the vehicle, give it a destination, and fasten their seatbelts, it accellerates up toward the full-speed guideway. When the vehicle reaches its destination, it exits the main guideway and starts decelerating toward the exit station. After the passengers exit, the vehicle moves forward to wait in line with other vehicles for another passenger at the entrance station - which is about 50 feet ahead from the exit station.

Stations are very minimalistic and inexpensive, so many of them can be built freqently along a SkyTran line. Most stations would not need more than one berth to serve its area. Stations with multiple berths would allow much greater throughput while still being extremely small in comparison to a train station or subway station.
