ICAS (International Council of Air Shows) Additions, continued

Bob Correll spent a lot of time detailing the front fairing and insuring the canopy window was a perfect fit.  Then more time carefully polishing the heat formed Acrylic plastic window.

All the welds on the three compartment fuel/oil/alcohol tank had to be carefully ground down.  Bondo was used to hide all the surface ripples by each welded bulkhead.

A custom 20 layer Kevlar belt made by Deist Safety covers the entire turbine section to safely contain any shrapnel that could result if a  turbine blade fails.  Also Custom made COOL IT Thermo-Tec 2,000 degree Fahrenheit  insulating blankets protect Bob, all electrical wiring and other equipment from destructive temperatures of the Jet Engine's super hot exhaust pipe

A pair of steering dampers attached to the front fork with Trac-Dynamics brackets will eliminate high speed shimmy.
