8. Rear Fairing and Fins Development

The 6" diameter parachute canister mockup and cardboard fins are the start of the aft fairing geometry.  The twin rudders were enlarged further and moved considerably forward after we studied a series of F-18 aircraft photos we found on the Internet.

This rough CAD drawing by Malewicki will be used to discuss baseline possibilities for fin mounting, parachute canister mounting, and bodywork.
