09a Welded and Machined Components
August 29, 1999

This throttle drum for rotating the throttle control of the F-18 (splined shaft) was machined by Frank "Cheeks" Delia. A custom Terry cable runs from the motorcycle's twist grip throttle to this drum.  Dual return springs insure safety.

WP Machine machined these lightweight, two-component foot pegs to Bob Correll's specifications.

Mundane, but important.  This cart stand will be used to support the F-18 Jet Bike for routine maintenance.  Underbody access is greatly simplified.  This simple cart will do the same job as a car lift hoist.  However, we just need to lift 500 pounds, not 3,000 pounds.  Also built by WP Machine of Santa Ana of California.
