Bob Correll's F-18 Jet Bike
Saturday October 28, 2000HEADLINE NEWS!
Bob Correll acquires full ownership of his Original Jet Bike!
The Jet Bike team has spent the last month refurbishing and modifying Bob's original machine for relicensing certification (the reason why hardly any progress has been made on the F-18 Jet Bike since the June 11th photos below were taken.). After sitting in storage for several years the 1,350 Horsepower General Electric T-58-8 started right up. On July 26, 2000 Correll made five demonstration runs for IHRA (International Hot Rod Association) Chief Jet Vehicle Safety Inspector, Dick Rossberg, in North Carolina. All runs were flawless and Bob and the machine are now officially licensed.

Having two Jet Bikes running, tested and licensed for the 2001 season puts us a year ahead of schedule. It will be the start of a new era in exotic Jet Exhibition racing! And.... wait until you see the third Jet Bike design for 2002!
