Jerry Spellman - Proposals, Public Relations, Government Relations
Jerry is the former head of fund raising and government relations for the Arizona Lung Association, and also served as Director of Corporate Communications for the YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago.
He has 15 years professional public relations, grant proposal writing and non-profit organizational development experience. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Arizona State University, with a specialty in information management.
His talents and experience lie in the area of communications, including public/community, government and media relations, lobbying/advocacy, planning, and information dissemination. Jerry enjoys writing, editing and publishing, loves multi-media, and likes playing the role of coordinator and collaborator.
He is comfortable in administration, analysis and strategic planning, and has had a lot of fun organizing and executing special events from ground breaking ceremonies to conferences, to annual meetings and awards banquets.
