Lee Wamble – Vice President, Electromagnetics
Electrical Engineering:
Levitation, Guidance, Propulsion.
Lee is a lifelong
electromagnetism enthusiast who loves to build real things. He
graduated from the University of Washington 1993 with an electrical
engineering degree that emphasized analog electronic circuit design
and network analysis. Lee has more than ten years work experience
on products ranging from professional grade loudspeaker components
to head mounted displays to gigantic robotic machines for aerospace
manufacturing. He’s knowledgeable in linear motor design, power
electronics, machine control and design-to-production processes.
As an Army brat he lived in a
variety of cities and towns ranging from Western Europe to the Far
East as well as several states before his family settled in the
Puget Sound area where he’s put down roots for twenty-plus years.
Over those recent decades he’s watched with growing dismay as his
beautiful adopted home slowly choked on mounting congestion and
pollution. In reaction he has become dedicated to the development of
technological solutions that will greatly improve mobility-
economically achievable solutions that will reduce energy
consumption, safety hazards and environmental / quality of life
impacts of all types.
Lee enjoys cycling on both
pavement and dirt, as well as backcountry hiking and camping. He
lives with his wife and two children in Bothell, Washington.
